    Why take the first-aid and CPR course?

    Every year at work, in homes, schools, and other places in Nigeria incidents occur whereby thousands of people die or are seriously injured.
    Many deaths could be prevented and victims stabilized if first aid was administered before emergency services arrive.
    The first aid and cpr training course will equip participants with relevant skills to handle emergency situations wherever they find themselves.

    Training Schedule:
    2 DAYS
    • Time: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm Daily (or 2 weekends)
    • Date: We conduct training every week from January to December (except public holidays).
    • Training Schedule: Wednesdays – Thursdays (all training centers) | Saturdays (some training centers).

    At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
    • carry out basic first aid, save lives, and prevent injuries from becoming worse.
    • assess an emergency, and
    • Give relevant information to appropriate authorities.

    • Introduction to first aid
    • Understanding the aims and objectives of first aid
    • Principles of first aid
    • Appreciating the proper method of assessing emergencies
    • First aid treatment for various injuries and ill health, such as:
    – bleeding
    – burns and scalds
    – choking
    – drowning
    – different types of shock
    – fractures
    – electric shock
    – heart attack
    – shock
    – poisoning, and
    – stroke
    Principles and types of bandaging
    How to move an injured or sick person
    • Preparation of first aid kits
    • Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
    • Practical demonstration and assessment

  • What Are The Entry Requirements?

    There are no specific barriers, in terms of academic qualifications, skills, or experience, to entry to the first aid and CPR programme.

    The course is open to everyone, irrespective of academic discipline or background.

    • N50,000 per person.
    This covers all materials, including the course manual, registration, enrollment, daily lunch and refreshments, exams, and certification.
